About Us

I am a Director and the Company Secretary for NACA. Effectively I am the volunteer head of the staff operation here. Prior to the establishment of the company I was the Secretary & Treasurer of the old NACA, and was a Past President, this was after a number of years as a member of the former Executive and Council of the old Association from about 1985 onwards. My father had for many years been Treasurer of the old Association until his death in 1989.

My professional history is as an accounting assistant for Northampton Borough Council from 1973 to 2009, technically to MAAT level. I have lived in Abington since 1953, most of that time in the same road as the Community Centre. Outside of the Community Centre my interests are railways where I am an occasional Station Master for the Talyllyn Railway,  and I have also until  recently been a Director & Volunteer for Northamptonshire Credit Union.
